Crude oil price hover above $104
NEW YORK, March 7 (UPI) -- Crude oil for April delivery trading at more than $104 on the New York Mercantile Exchange Monday.
After settling Friday at $104.42 per barrel, crude oil rose 52 cents in early trading Monday, fetching $104.94. By late afternoon, prices had settled slightly to $104.64.
Henry Hub natural gas also saw gains, then fell as the day wore on. Natural gas closed down 1.2 cents from a midday settlement to $3.915 per million British thermal units.
Home heating oil shed 2.11 cents, or $3.0446 a gallon. Gasoline trading saw price declines, as well, with reformulated blendstock gasoline down from a midday peak of $2.995 to close at $2.9915.
At the pump, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.509, down slightly from Sunday's average of $3.503 a gallon.
