Brent crude ends higher on Mideast worries, dollar
(Reuters) - Brent crude oil ended higher on Friday as unrest in the Middle East and fighting in Libya plus a weaker dollar trumped concerns that slower U.S. economic growth could stifle oil demand.
In London, ICE Brent for June delivery LCOM1 settled at $125.89 a barrel, gaining 87 cents, or 0.7 percent, after trading from $124.25 to $126.10. It has gained in three of the last four sessions and the close was the highest since April 8, when prices settled at $126.65.
For the month, front-month Brent crude LCOc1 rose $8.53, or 7.3 percent, extending gains to the eighth month in a row.
